How do whitelist a port via firewall panel

πŸ” Step 1: Log In and Open the Rules Page


Go to:

https://firewall.newhorizonhosting.org/


Log in using your account details.


If prompted, click Authorise.


You will be taken to the Rules page.



Click + New Rule in the top-right corner.


βš™οΈ Step 2: Create Your Firewall Rule

Fill in the form as follows:

Select IP

β†’ Choose the IP you want to apply the rule to.


CIDR

β†’ Leave this as:

πŸ“‘ Protocol


Choose:


TCP or


UDP


If you need both, repeat this process and create a second rule.

Set Action to:


Whitelist


πŸ”’ Ports & Source


Destination Port

β†’ Enter your required port

Example:

Source Port

β†’ Leave blank


Source IP

β†’ Leave blank

You may:


Leave this blank, or


Add a short note to remember what the rule is for


Example:


Game server port 98


βœ… Step 3: Save the Rule


Review your settings.


Click Add Rule.


Wait for the status to show Synced.


Once synced, your rule is active.

Your port is now whitelisted and ready to use.


No further configuration is required.
